
The Counseling Services office advances the overall wellness of students through individual/group counseling sessions; educational programming and consultation; crisis intervention; and specialized referrals. Licensed counselors provide free, confidential counseling in accordance with the American Counseling Association's Code of Ethics.

Walk-ins are welcome. In crisis situations, Counselors will meet immediate needs as soon as possible and in a timely manner.

York College Chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) will sponsor the annual Take Back the Night. The goals of the event are to increase awareness of sexual violence and to provide hope, healing and a network of support for those who have been personally affected. The agenda for the night includes three speakers and a candlelight vigil followed by light refreshments. S and K Awareness Jewelry will be sold at the conclusion of the event. Jewelry is original and hand crafted, and 25% of each sale is donated to the agencies that serve victim populations of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse.
